About Mr. Harris

Andre D. Harris is native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a product of New Orleans Public Schools. He is a proud graduate of John F. Kennedy Senior High School where he graduated Valedictorian. Upon graduation, he furthered his education at Loyola University where he earned both his undergrad and graduate degrees in Communication and Education.

Since the age of five, Andre has always had a passion for education and truly believes the whole world is a classroom and every person in it is a scholar. Having a deep love for learning has allowed him to have a great passion for molding and developing the whole child. Andre has been an educator for 21 years and has served as a classroom teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal, School Director, Director of Career and Technical Education, Adjunct Professor, and Career Counselor.

Andre is a faithful member of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church pastored by the Rev. Dr. Walter Hardy, Jr. He serves as Assistant Minister of Music, Bible Study Teacher and Youth Counselor/Advisor. Andre is also the administrator for Tyronne G. Foster and the Arc Singers.

Andre’s motto is “Education is the Key to Success and Success is the Key to Learning.”
