About Coach Crain

Morgan Crain graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and received her master’s degree in exercise science at University of Toledo. While at Toledo, Crain was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach working with women’s tennis, women’s golf, and men’s and women’s cross country. Most recently she was a part-time assistant strength and conditioning coach at Transylvania University.

When asked about her best quality as an educator, she said, “My personality and willingness to help others strive for greatness and overcome adversity.”

Favorite Performance Character Trait: Grit

“Every day I strive for greatness,” Crain said. “When faced with failure you can either give up or overcome adversity and continue to strive and prosper in every aspect of life. That’s what I try and do every day, overcome adversity and press on.”

Fun Facts about Coach Crain

Q: What are three things about you most people don’t know?

  • I love the outdoors, hiking, white water rafting, exploring—all of it.
  • I am a proud member of one of the greatest sororities ever, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Being a part of this sorority has helped shape me into the woman I am today!
  • I love to travel. Every chance I get I’m on the road or catching a flight to somewhere new.
