Patricia Meiklejohn

Patricia Meiklejohn graduated from Xavier University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s in msuic vocal performance. Prior to Athlos she has been teaching for 26 years. This is her second year at Athlos Academy. As an educator she says her top goal is, “To introduce our students to all the joys of learning. Using my creative skills to make learning their basic skills in reading, writing and math more meaningful.”  When asked why she was drawn to the Athlos model, she mentions,”I was drawn to Athlos because they take the whole child into consideration. Athlos understands children need to be well rounded in art, music, and athletics as well as learning basic skills to be a well rounded person.”
