About Mrs. Dupont
Mrs. Dupont graduated from the University of New Orleans in December of 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is certified to teach every subject in grades first through eighth. Most of her twenty and a half years of teaching have been in second, third, and fourth grades.
Mrs. DuPont has a husband with whom she has been for twenty-six years. She has two daughters. Her oldest daughter lives in Georgia with her husband and Mrs. DuPont’s intelligent grandson. Her youngest daughter lives in Orlando, Florida, and works at Disney World.
Mrs. DuPont feels that her best qualities as a teacher are her organization and ability to build lasting relationships with her students. She says that many of her past students stop by her room to say, “Hi, I miss you, Mrs. DuPont.”
Favorite Performance Character Trait: Leadership
“The performance character trait that most resonates with me is leadership,” said Mrs. DuPont. “I consider myself a leader because I make responsible decisions daily and motivate my coworkers and students to take action. I am also very organized and a stickler for rules.”

• She has one grandson and another grandchild on the way.

• She is very passionate about teaching.
• Her favorite thing to do is travel to Georgia or Disney World to visit her daughters, son-in-law, and grandson.
