Ms. Richelle Woodfork
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
About Ms. Woodfork
Richelle Woodfork has been working as special education teacher since 1998. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Dillard University and is currently working on a master’s degree. Woodfork has teaching experience managing diverse classroom environments and working with students and parents from a wide range of needs.
“I chose this profession, because after all that had happened to me at a young age, I found that my passion was to work with children. The ones who I really found myself giving more to and growing more on me were the kids with special needs,” Woodfork said. “It gives me joy and peace to know that these kids with special needs can do the same things that regular kids can do with just a little help from someone like myself who has love and compassion for what they do. I look for my kids to reach their highest levels of education.”
“My favorite part about working in special education is being able to build a relationship with the kids and help them succeed,” she said.
