Lilian Colar

Lilian Solar attended Grambling State University and gained her bachelors degree in special education. After that, she served as a Special Education teacher in Orleans, Jefferson and Plaquemine Parish.

The Athlos model appealed to Lilian since it addresses all aspects of a child’s development and not just their educational progress; her key focus as an Athlos educator is to enhance the core skills (reading, writing, math) of students identified as below grade level.

Lilian always looks forward to the school year and being able to experience the atmosphere of exciting learning and engagement with the school.
