Important dates include:
- The first day of school for grades 1–7 is Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
- The first day of kindergarten is Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
- The last day of the 2019–20 school year is Friday, May 22, 2020.
The calendar also includes:
- Non-school days due to holidays, staff professional development, and conferences
- Various breaks: fall break, Thanksgiving break, winter break, Mardi Gras break, and spring break
- Early dismissal days throughout the year
