Britney Brignac

Brittany is a Level 3 Certified educator with additional credentials in Educational Leadership, English as a Second Language (ESL), Science of Reading training, and attended Louisiana Resource Center for Educators for Teacher Certification. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of impactful roles, including Kindergarten through Third Grade Teacher, ELL ELA Designated Teacher, Pull-Out ELL Teacher, ELL Instructional Specialist, Literacy Coach, and Master Teacher. She has also led as a school-wide PLC Interventionist Facilitator for both K–2 and 3–5 grade levels, supporting targeted interventions to drive student success. 

Her top goal as an educator is to inspire a lifelong love of learning while equipping students with advanced academic skills, critical thinking abilities, and the confidence they need to thrive beyond the classroom. Known for her patience and unwavering determination, she takes pride in witnessing the significant academic and personal growth of her students.

Brittany was drawn to Athlos Academy because its model aligns with her core values — focusing on the whole student through character development, healthy habits, and academic excellence. As an ESL educator, she deeply understands that language acquisition is closely tied to confidence, relationships, and emotional well-being. She believes Athlos’ emphasis on performance character and overall student wellness creates the perfect environment for English Learners to grow and succeed in all areas of life.
