Announcement!

Dear Families of AAJP,

We are proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Terrah S. Averette-Harrison as the new Principal of our school. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University. Throughout her career, Ms. Harrison has demonstrated a passion for transforming school culture, driving academic growth, and empowering educators. Her journey includes roles as an 8th Grade English and Math teacher, TAP Master Teacher, Academic Dean, and Principal of a successful start-up school in Jefferson Parish. She left Jefferson Parish Schools after 18 years to become the Director of Academics at InspireNOLA Charter Schools, where she led initiatives to improve instructional quality and student achievement across multiple campuses.
