Oshele Byrd

Oshele Byrd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Dillard University. With over a decade of experience in education, she began her teaching career in Mississippi, where she taught music to students in grades 6–12 for two years. Upon returning home, she transitioned to early childhood education, working with children from birth to Pre-K for six years before joining the Athlos Academy family in 2022.

Now in her 11th year in education, Oshele is passionate about nurturing the future citizens of the world. Her goal is to ensure that the scholars she teaches are not only prepared academically but also grow to care deeply about the world around them. Known for her commitment to student growth, she is always seeking new ways to support and challenge her students.

Oshele looks forward each year to the joy of spending her days with her youngest learners and collaborating with her team. She was drawn to Athlos by a family who spoke highly of the strong, supportive community—and now she’s proud to be a part of it.
