For LaShanda Prevost, teaching second grade is all about helping young scholars grow.
“I love when they are able to understand a skill they may not have been sure about,” she said. ” The level of excitement and confidence they have makes my job very rewarding.”
Performance Character traits like grit and enthusiasm are integrated into daily lesson plans and Prevost said they “help scholars to be well-rounded learners and independent thinkers.”
