Amelia Atkins

Welcome to Athlos Academy of Jefferson Parish! Coach Atkins is excited to begin a new year and is looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. She is from Baltic, South Dakota and graduated from the University of South Dakota, in Vermillion, South Dakota this past May with a degree in k-12 physical education and a minor in coaching and then moved down here shortly after. She also coaches volleyball and 2019 is her first year teaching out of college but has been coaching basketball/volleyball for 4 years. She’s very excited to be beginning her teaching career here at Athlos Academy and can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all of us.
