Kelsey Burris

Kelsey Burris is currently pursuing her degree at Southern University after earning an Associate Degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design from Delgado Community College. She began her journey at Athlos Academy as a General Education paraprofessional and, within a year and a half, transitioned into the role of graphic design teacher.

Kelsey’s greatest strength as an educator is her ability to genuinely connect with students. She finds joy in seeing their creativity come to life and loves witnessing the excitement on their faces as their projects take shape. Each year, she looks forward to inspiring and guiding students through hands-on, meaningful work.

Kelsey was drawn to Athlos Academy because of its strong sense of community and open communication. She values the supportive environment and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues who share a commitment to student growth and success.
