About Kirsten Kempele

Kirsten Kempele holds a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and a master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Southern University. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist with thirteen years of experience providing evaluation and treatment services to children with a wide range of communication disorders.

Kirsten holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her professional background includes work in diverse settings such as public schools, early intervention programs, and outpatient clinics.

At Athlos, her top goal is to help every student find their voice. She is known for creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks and celebrate their progress. Each year, she looks forward to building strong connections with her students and helping them achieve their communication goals. Kirsten was drawn to Athlos Academy by its commitment to the three pillars: prepared mind, healthy body, and performance character.
