The Board voted to extend the school calendar to May 26, 2022. Athlos Academy of Jefferson Parish governing board approved the updated official school calendar for the 2021–22 school year. View a printable PDF calendar.
The rationale for the calendar was based on the feedback from surveys, this option being the least disruptive to the previous calendar, and provides for more instructional time before our end of the year LEAP Testing window closes.
Our updated school quarters (9 weeks per quarter):
1st Quarter will now end 10/22
2nd Quarter will now run 10/25 – 1/14/22
3rd Quarter will now run 1/17-3/25/22
4th Quarter will now run 3/28-5/26/22
The calendar also includes:
- Non-school days due to holidays, staff professional development, and conferences
- Various breaks: fall break, Thanksgiving break, winter break, Mardi Gras break, and spring break
- Early dismissal days throughout the year
The calendar aligns with Jefferson Parish Public Schools as much as possible.
