About Alexis Deihl
Alexis Deihl graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2018. However, after beginning work in sales and advertising, she realized that she wanted to pursue a more influential career that would make a real difference. So she decided to go back to school with iTeach Louisiana to get her teaching certification in elementary education.
Deihl feels that her best qualities as a teacher are her enthusiasm and optimism. “If you don’t show a positive attitude and excitement towards learning, how can you expect your students to?”
Favorite Performance Character Trait: Energy/Zest
“The Performance Character trait that most resonates with me is energy/zest,” she said. “If you wake up in the morning and you’re excited to start the day, that energy will continue throughout the day. If you are feeling pumped about a project or an upcoming lesson, you’re going to retain more information from it. If you keep a positive attitude about inconveniences you run into, they will be less stressful and overwhelming. Your enthusiasm towards life makes a big difference.”

Alexis Deihl married her high school best friend, Blake. They have been together for eight years.
She has two dogs and a cat who are all rescues and completely spoiled.
In her spare time, she likes to relax by watching movies, reading, painting or, taking a nap.
She is both a huge Harry Potter and Marvel fan.
Her favorite subject has always been math!
